Coils, also referred to as atomizers, are units powered by batteries to heat up and vaporize the e-liquid. A coil head basically consists of wire wrapped in wicking material which gets in contact with the e-liquid and draws it into the coil. There are many different coils available , ranging in resistances and wire types, allowing users to tailor their vaping experience to their requirements.

Coils with lower ohm resistance and sub-ohm coils are associated with a higher temperature vaping, allowing more current to flow through and resulting in bigger, warmer clouds as opposed to higher resistance coils which create a cooler experience and less vapours.
