The True Vape Art of Stealth Vaping

The fun part about vaping is blowing large clouds of vapor. However, there are those few instances when you need your dose of nicotine without alerting the whole world. In these cases, the art of stealth vaping come in handy. For those who are yet to learn the secret of stealth vaping, here is an explanation of what it’s all about.

What is Stealth Vaping

This is the art of vaping where the vapor aims at producing a minimal amount of vapor. Minimizing the visibility of vapor allows you reduce the inconvenience and hassle caused to non-vapers. It also shows that you are respectful and mindful of others.

What You Need

Getting the right device and e-juice makes stealth vaping easier. A smaller vaping pen with a low voltage and high resistance coil is ideal. But remember that smaller devices achieve a lower throat hit with each puff. Therefore, you want to get an e-juice with a higher nicotine content to achieve the same throat hit as with larger devices. Also, you want to make sure that the e-juice selected has a light flavor, such as, menthol, mint and fruit instead of tobacco and pepper flavors. E-juices with a higher propylene glycol are also preferable. This is because they produce a lower amount of vapor in comparison to e-juices with a high vegetable glycerine base.

Stealth Vaping Techniques

There are several stealth vaping techniques, the most common being the swallow, deep inhale, and the second inhale. The swallow technique is where you inhale then swallow twice before exhaling. This gives room for the vapor to be absorbed in the lungs and also be diluted with oxygen so that when you exhale, it is less visible. The second inhale involves inhaling of vapor followed by a second inhale of air to dilute it. Lastly, the deep inhale involves inhaling deeply then waiting for as long as you can before exhaling.

Bottom Line

There is no right or wrong stealth vaping technique. Even if you choose to simply blow the vapor with your shirt or napkin, you would still be stealth vaping. Just so long as you keep the vapor minimally visible.
